Today, I took my first “real” (for credit) college test since December 1998. It was a three-hour proctored test. I took it at Temple University, Japan. I figured I would get out of there early, but I finished just 3 or 4 minutes before my deadline.
My online course, which I wrote about here and here, is coming to a close. It was a lot of fun, and it really helped me confirm that I want to go back to school.
Online courses are certainly convenient. This one was just for fun, and very enjoyable, but the one thing missing is community. There is just something special about being in a class with people who you can discuss ideas with.
