Last Sunday, my wife and I went to Sensoji Temple, in Tokyo.
I hadn’t been there in three years, since I took my sister. Sensoji Temple is a popular tourist site, but not someplace I tend to go myself. When we went that time, it started pouring.
Fast forward to 2009. Last week, we had a break from the downpour, so we headed to the temple to check it out. As you can see from this picture, we weren’t alone.
Unfortunately, I decided against lugging an umbrella. That turned out to be a mistake. We ended up looking like drowned rats as we ran in search of umbrellas to buy. Naturally, they were tiny suckers that didn’t protect my broad shoulders!
Here’s a quick photo, while I’m using the wi-fi at McDonald’s. I’ll have more pics and posts up soon. We’ll get internet at home again next Saturday, June 13th. On a personal note, things are going ok. I miss being online more, but I have to admit being unplugged hasn’t been bad at all. I can still check gmail on my cell phone, so feel free to contact me that way. You can also use the “Contact” page above, or Facebook, Twitter, or Friendfeed.

Ugh! It’s the 13th now? I thought it was supposed to be the 8th. Oh well, that’s pretty soon
Actually?it was?originally. I called them and set up the 8th?but they called back later the same day and asked to change the date to the 13th.
I have to say again, that’s a great picture
