I’ve walked by these and other cool murals so many times, but haven’t taken pictures. I really need to get on that. In the meantime, I took a couple quick shots the other day. These are in front of the Waseda Exit at Takadanobaba Station.

Feed Me Cartons!

This is a fun picture. At Yotsuya Station, in Tokyo, there is a vending machine that sells paper cartons of coffee, milk, and fruit juice. This trash can is the right of it. Someone drew a face on it. The Japanese says it is a trash can for paper cartons (no cans, bottles, or other trash…)

More Cherry Blossoms

Here are some more cherry blossom pics. I just took these a few minutes ago, near my company (near Ichigaya Station in Tokyo).

They are already past their peak, and soon they will all be gone…

An Autumn Walk

Here are a few pictures I took back in November, after I finished subbing at a school. I decided to walk to the station, and I got a bit lost (on purpose). I have to say, the most surprising thing I saw that day was a Red Lobster!

These aren’t new, but enjoy…

Cherry Blossoms

This year, I haven’t gotten my act together and gotten any cherry blossom pics. I meant to bring my camera this morning, but in the rush I left it on my table. I did manage to take one with my cell phone. Hopefully, I can take a few good ones before they are gone. But time is running out.

A New Year

Keys

In Japan, the educational and financial year starts on April 1st. So many of my regular classes are starting up again. This a picture of the keys to one of the classrooms at a college where I teach on Fridays.

I like spring, and this is a vibrant and exciting time to be in Japan. But as the weather gets warmer and the days get longer, I am filled with a sense of dread…

The oppressive heat of summer is on its way. :P
