Hello world!

I finally got this site up and running! I made my first website back in late 1995 or early 1996. Since then, I have made a few attempts at a website, but I never really had a message, and I never really shared my efforts. I was just playing around…

The internet has changed a lot in the past 11 or 12 years, since I logged into my first email account. Back then, hardly anyone I knew had email. Now, it seems hard to imagine a time when we didn’t rely on email and the internet to communicate and obtain information!

The story for this site began in the summer of 2005, when I first opened up a Blog site on Blogger.com, called “The Wayfarer Blog.” After playing around with it, I decided to get my own domain and create a site where I could share some of my thoughts and experiences with you. After all, I would not be where I am today without your love and support. Words cannot express how much you all mean to me. But I hope that my words and pictures will give you some idea of what I am doing. The purpose of this site is not to showcase my clumsy writing, (or even clumsier photography.) It is a living expression of where I am in my life and what I see. Like anyone, my life is filled with joys, pains, adventures, and boring routines. I have learned so much, but I still have so much to learn. I believe we are all traveling on our own path, but the friends and family who walk with us, as well as the lesson we learn, are our greatest treasures.
It has taken a lot of time and a little frustration to get this site up. I wanted to have this up many months ago, but I encountered many problems, and I have been very busy. I appreciate your patience, and I look forward to sharing part of my journey with you.
